Sustainable procurement

Sustainable procurement is about looking at the life of the contract, to undertake an analysis of value for money over the life of the contract. Sustainable procurement is about looking at the 'extras' that can add to the total price if not considered i.e. ongoingn sale and support, maintenance issues, price upon disposal etc.

In New Zealand the areas of sustainable procurement are: Paper, Light Fittings, Vehicles, timber products. The next 'batch' will be IT, Buildings, Cleaning (cleaning products) and textiles.

Facts about 2008:

Corporate Contracts / Contract Matters year was a hectic one with travels to 16 countries.  2009 is looking much the same.  We look forward to hearing from you and discussing how we can assist in ensuring that you can award contracts to the best supplier as well as ensuring suppliers how best to win contracts.
